Change in Ownership at 6th Position

Dear Dancers,

I’m reaching out today to share some exciting news about a recent development at 6th Position.

I’m pleased to announce that 6th Position has been acquired by a new owner – Anouska Moore. Anouska will commence as Owner and Director of 6th Position from 1 July 2024.

Anouska will be a familiar name and face to many, if not all, of you. As ballet teacher, admin support and the brains behind our upcoming The Nutcracker in July production, I have absolutely no doubt that she is the right person to take 6P into its next phase. Her wealth of experience and innovative ideas will bring exciting opportunities, and her genuine care for the dance community will ensure it continues to be a fun, safe and welcoming space.

I took on the ownership of 6th Position at the start of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns and while it was certainly a strange time to become a business owner for the first time, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn so much and be part of this incredible community. Thank you to every dancer, teacher, and family member that has been a part of this community so far. 

The decision to hand the reins to Anouska stems from both personal circumstances and the opportunities presented by welcoming a fresh perspective into this amazing studio.

I want to assure you that this change should have no major immediate effects on you. Your classes and pricing will remain the same, and any existing passes will continue to be valid until their respective expiry dates. Our commitment to providing exceptional dance experiences remains unwavering.

Our contact email address, website, and Momence booking system will remain the same. Additionally, Emily, your main point of contact, will continue in her role after a short, well-deserved holiday.

We will be updating the phone number, and will share this with you shortly. The original number will be forwarded for the short term. 

We're actively collaborating to ensure a smooth transition during this period of change, and Grace will continue teaching Contemporary classes at 6th Position.
